Beartooth Alpine Adventure

Departs from: Lake Hotel, Fishing Bridge RV Park, Canyon Lodge, Mammoth Hotel, Roosevelt Lodge

The late Charles Kuralt, of CBS News and host of "On the Road" heralded the Beartooth Highway as the "most beautiful road in America."  See for yourself why so many agree with him.  Let us do the driving so you can enjoy this rugged landscape.

Teton Vista Rendezvous

Departs from: Fishing Bridge RV Park, Lake Hotel, Bridge Bay Campground, Grant Village

Experience three parks in one day!  Witness jewel-like lakes, rugged mountains, placid meadows, and wonderful wildlife.  Find out about these areas and their inhabitants.  You'll stop at the historic Menor's Ferry area by the Snake River for lunch at Dornan's (not included in the price of the fare).  If weather is not conducive to sightseeing stops there are plans to visit cultural sites or the Colter Bay Native Arts Museum.

Buffalo Bill's Wild West

Departs from Lake Hotel, Bridge Bay and Fishing Bridge RV Park

Experience the "old Cody Road to Yellowstone" through the Shoshone National Forest, as we travel to Cody, Wyoming, the town founded and built by "Buffalo Bill."  While there visit the awsome Buffalo Bill Historical Center, a world-class institution known as the "Smithsonian of the West."  Explore the 5 museums that house impressive collections on Plains Indians, Western Art, Buffalo Bill and his Wild West show, Firearms, and Yellowstone's ecosystem.

Across the Great Divide (morning 2½ hour tour)

Departs from: Old Faithful Inn

Traverse the Continental Divide to Yellowstone Lake and the West Thumb Geyser Basin.  Learn about the Divide and surrounding ecology en route to West Thumb.  At West Thumb, discover the workings of the geysers and hot springs while walking the geyser basin.  A continental breakfast is included.

Across the Northern Range (3 hour tour)

Departs from: Mammoth Hotel

Enjoy expansive views as we travel the Grand Loop Road across Yellowstone's Northern Range.  Upon arrival at Roosevelt corrals, you'll transfer for a one-hour ride in a replica Tally-ho stagecoach, whose predecessors carried visitors through the wonders of Yellowstone a hundred years ago.

The Washburn Expedition (4 hour tour)

General Henry Washburn led an expedition to Yellowstone in 1870. Today we offer a modern-day version of Washburn's trek with our own Washburn Expedition.  The tour will include the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Dunraven Pass.  Experience the wildlife, geology and breathtaking scenery that Washburn first experienced (without the saddle sores.)

Wake up to Wildlife (morning 4 hour tour)

The early morning hours and Lamar Valley's broad vistas provide great opportunities to spot wildlife grazing or hunting on the open hillsides.  If the wildlife is lying low, the spectacular scenery is sure to please.  A continental breakfast and beverages are provided.

They Left Their Mark (2 hour tour)

Have you ever seen the active beaver lodge, raven's nest, and trees scarred by bears, elk and bison that lie along to road between Mammoth and Norris? How about the old volcanoes near the roadside, or the mountain of glass?  With our guide, and the wonderful historic Yellow Bus for transport, we'll bring the roadside to life on this tour!

Firehole Basin Adventure (3 hour tour)

Departs from: Old Faithful Inn

This cool three-hour adventure will take you to where it's hot and steamy.  Your guide will show you all four major types of geothermal features; geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.  You'll leave with a new appreciation and understanding of Yellowstone's underground plumbing.

Scenic Shorelines (3 1/2 hour tour)

Departs from: Canyon Lodge

Enjoy the "surf and turf" of park touring...an historic Yellow Bus trip through the early morning splendor of Hayden Valley is topped off with an entertaining hour of lake cruising.  After exploring Yellowstone Lake, the Yellow Bus returns north, and depending on time, will take a side trip or two to search for wildlife.

Picture Perfect Photo Safari

Departs from: Lake Yellowstone Hotel Explore the northshore of Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Valley and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone areas with a photographer-guide who knows photo hot spots.  Our specific destination will vary based on reported wildlife sightings and seasonal conditions.

Teddy, Bears and Breakfast (morning 4 hour tour)

By early morning light we'll take you on Yellowstone's highest road, Dunraven Pass which crests at 8,859 feet.  This is fine habitat for black and grizzly bears and bighorn sheep (moose, elk and wolves are seen occasionally as well).  Breakfast will be served in the dining room of Roosevelt Lodge.

 Traveling through Travertine (1 hour and 15 minute tour)

Why are there no geysers at Mammoth Hot Springs?  Why did they name the mountain that overlooks them in honor of the man who figured out how geysers work?  Why are the hot springs here so different than elsewhere in Yellowstone?  On this short tour these and more questions will be answered.

 A Village of Hot Springs & History (1 hour tour)

Old Faithful Village is almost as historic as Yellowstone itself.  This 45-minute tour allows our visitors the opportunity to experience the historic structures and trails around the village.  The tour will take in such sights as the historic Howard Eaton Trail, Frank Haynes photo shop (built in 1897), the old bear feeding grounds and more.

Cruise Around the Canyon (90 minute Tour)

Departs from: Canyon Lodge

The area around the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is noted for its waterfalls and breathtaking canyon, but there is so much more to the area.  Amazing vistas from Dunraven Pass are often accented with wildflowers, and the Norris Geyser Basin offer thermal features that are sure to impress.  Our guide is prepared to "customize" this tour a bit, so that we can accommodate some particular interests of our passengers.

Evening on the Edge (evening 2½ hour tour)

Departs from: Canyon Lodge

The combination of early evening hours and our historic Yellow Bus creates the perfect wildlife viewing opportunity.  While there are no guarantees the wildlife will cooperate, this is still prime "critter country."  Along the way, your guide's tales of times past will be enhanced by the nostalgic ride on board this classic touring car.

Lake Butte Sunset Tour (evening 2 hour tour)

Enjoy the scenic shores of Yellowstone Lake and breathtaking views from the Lake Butte Overlook.  It's a ride through history and nature, as tales from the past are interwoven with sights of the present.

The Trail of Two Oceans (evening 2 hour tour)

Yellowstone is a park of great natural wonders and is especially beautiful during early morning and evening hours.  This evening tour's major focus is on the Great Divide, the adventures of early park guide Howard Eaton and the thousands who toured Yellowstone on horseback with him.

Evening Wildlife Encounters (evening 2 1/2 hour tour)

If the wildlife is around, the combination of early evening hours and a Historic Yellow Bus creates a perfect opportunity for wildlife watching.  If it isn't a summer evening ride with the top down and a guide who knows the significance and history of the Northern Range is an experience in itself.
