Custon Guided Fishing and Sightseeing Tours

Yellowstone Lake is home to native Cutthroat Trout and the exotic Lake Trout. Its also a huge lake, with lots of beautiful scenery and interesting history. Our guide boats depart from Bridge Bay Marina and can provide a custom tour of the lake or a day of fishing. The boats can accommodate up to six people

Rental rate includes:

  • Experienced fishing and/or tour guide.
  • Fishing gear (rods and tackle); up to 3 people may actually fish at one time.
  • Life jackets for each person .
  • Gas.
  • Cleaning of any fish caught and kept.

Guidelines:

  • Rate is per boat, regardless of number of people.
  • Maximum six people, regardless of age. This is a Coast Guard regulation; there are no exceptions.
  • Guide boats must be reserved in advance.
  • Guests must check in 15 minutes prior to departure time.
  • No overnight rentals are available.

Hours available:

  • June 15 to August 8, 2008, 7:45 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • August 9 to September 1, 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • September 2 to September 7, 8:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Guided Charter Tours for Sightseeing

  • Available June 15 - September 7, 2008.
  • 22' Cabin Cruiser, 1-6 people 2-hour minimum.
  • 34' Cabin Cruiser, 1-6 people, 2-hour minimum.

Backcountry Shuttle Service

Our new Ottercraft, the "Otter" can carry you and your gear to some of the most remote areas of the continental United States for a backcountry hiking/camping/canoeing or kayaking adventure of a lifetime.  Drop off points include:  Eagle Bay, Wolf Bay, Plover Point, Promontory, Columbine Creek on the east shore of the mouth of the Southeast arm.  The shuttle can be booked one way,round trip or for any point to point service from the five mentioned drop off points as well as to and from Bridge Bay Marina.

Typical loads:

  • up to six backpackers with backpacking gear per shuttle trip.
  • up to six campers with gear including three or four kayaks/canoes per shuttle trip determined by weather conditions and overall weight
  • book multiple shuttle trips to accommodate large parties or outfitters

Canoes and/or rowboats may be rented in conjunction with a backcountry shuttle.  Canoe rental includes:  17' canoe, paddles, life vests, and outriggers.  Rowboat rental includes:  16’ rowboat, oars, and life vests.
